The health and safety of our faculty, staff, and students, is of the utmost importance to us. With that in mind, and in light of continuing health concerns related to COVID-19, the Office of Leadership Education and Development (LEAD) will limit in-person program events scheduled to take place through the end of the 2021 Spring Semester. Although most in-person program events are not taking place, we are working diligently to identify creative ways to keep you engaged and connected in your leadership development journey.

Recruitment for all our programs is in full swing! We would love for you to apply and stay involved in our programs.

Below you’ll find links and application deadlines for the exciting opportunities we have for you. Each program page is updated with recruitment and postponement information as it becomes available.
Leadership Fellows | Facilitators | Teaching Assistants | April 3rd
Grand Challenges (incoming students) | April 15th
One-on-One Leadership Coaching (Be Coached) | April 15th

We are continuing to monitor the situation and will be reaching decisions regarding in-person events beyond May 2021 in consultation with the Institute.

LIVE

Whether they are exploring Atlanta, working on a service project, cheering on their fellow Yellow Jackets at the football game, studying for a big test, or just grabbing lunch in the dining hall, Grand Challenges students embrace their community like no other group on Georgia Tech’s campus.

LEARN

The Grand Challenges courses facilitate faculty-student interaction outside of the classroom, encouraging an engaging and inquisitive approach to student learning. Students are enticed to be reflective in their learning as they develop problem solving, leadership, and teamwork skills.

LEAD

To effectively tackle the complex challenges of today and create the optimal tomorrow, the world needs Grand Challengers - highly motivated, analytically intelligent, and relentlessly optimistic global citizens who recognize the need to work together to create sustainable and authentic change.
