While the transmission of bloodborne diseases has declined in developed nations, the lack of available resources in developing nations prevents a similar trend from occurring. By observing current blood donation processes in the U.S. and other countries, SmartBeat plans to create a solution focusing on affordability and ease-of use that will mitigate flawed medical systems.
