Runoff Power Generation is designing an energy generation system that will collect runoff from bridges and use the potential energy of the water to generate electricity. The rainwater will be stored until electricity is needed. The water will go through turbines, which will generate electricity for use on the bridge or the surrounding area. In this sense, we hope to create a low-cost energy generator using existing structures like bridges as a way to lower our dependence on fossil fuels and other non-renewable energy.
