IntOps is dedicated to improving the mobility of Parkinson’s patients through the use of technology, specifically a patient’s freezing of gait. During these freezing of gait episodes, a patient’s muscles will freeze up and prevent movement, which can increase the chances of falling. IntOps’ smart cane aims to help patients predict when freezing of gait will occur and help patients overcome it.
