Many inner-urban areas within major cities are not considered desirable neighborhoods to settle down in. One common factor among these areas is the lack of quick access to fresh, healthy and affordable food (a food desert). In order to make these areas more desirable, the Electric Express team hopes to provide healthier and quick access grocery options to people living in nearby food deserts. By providing these options, they predict inner-city obesity rates and the number of people suffering from health-related issues will decrease.
