EcoVolt understands that household appliances consume significant power when they are plugged in but are not in use. Our vision is to reduce electrical waste of household appliances that are on standby. We are creating a device that will be controlled remotely in a convenient manner to control whether an appliance is drawing power or not. This device will stop the draw of power from these appliances, effectively reducing wasted electricity in households across the United States. This device will utilize proximity and geofencing to determine when devices should be able to draw power. EcoVolt anticipates this device will drastically reduce wasted energy, both saving the planet and saving the consumer money.
